Digging in to stop the pipelines

Happening now: Pitch in to build land defenders a new bunkhouse

The Unis’tot’en Camp stands directly in the path of the proposed energy corridor across northern BC. As long as it stands, no pipelines can be built. This is the frontline - this is where First Nations and allies are standing together right now - and you can be there with them.

More bunk space is urgently needed for supporters to maintain year-round stewardship of the territory. Night-time temperatures drop to minus 35 and snow is waist deep in places.

Volunteer carpenters and helpers from both Galiano Island and the Mainland have come together to answer the call. Help us build a heated and insulated bunkhouse this spring so it is ready for next winter. The crew heads up north beginning of May.

May 12-30 Spring work camp: Permaculture and Pithouses

Last year's permaculture garden in the path of the pipelines produced bushels of fresh veggies, thanks to the hard work of the spring permaculture crew.

Help us do it again! We're collecting seeds, gardening supplies, food, and cash for the spring camp. Please spread the word to friends and neighbours.

Save the dates and send in your application today.
